Hornady ensures that its cartridge cases perform perfectly thanks, in part, to the attention paid to two dimensions in particular: case-wall thickness and wall concentricity. These elements are critical in ensuring that bullets are seated uniformly into the case, that cases are fed exactly right into a rifle's chamber and that fired rounds are released uniformly at every point inside the case mouth. Through the company's stringent quality-control practices as well, Hornady ensures that each case is made identically to the last. This ensures that handloaders have the exact cartridge specs they need for premium performance, regardless of which lot the case came from. Hornady's 300 PRC brass cases are sold in quantities of 50.
