400 Legend:
High Energy and Penetration with Low Recoil: This flat shooting cartridge is capable of effectively sending its 215 grain bullet @2250+ fps out to 200-250 yards. Its unique ballistic profile delivers effective stopping power with up to 20% less recoil than other short-action calibers, including other straight-walled cartridges like 450 Bushmaster.
Broader Hunting Opportunities:
Some states have legalized the use of straight-walled cartridges like the 400 Legend for deer, but this versatile caliber provides deep penetration, excellent accuracy and quick knockdown for a variety of medium range game — including feral hog and close cover bear.
Patented LBA Adjustable Trigger
is user-adjustable from 2 to 7 pounds. The Patriot bolt design is streamlined and checkered for easy, efficient operation .
Both 400 Legend Patriot rifles are threaded, have an 11 degree match crown and come with a protective cap. Bar rel threading is 11/16"-24TPI
